On Monday the caterpillar ate through one apple and on Tuesday it ate through two pears. It was still hungry. On Wednesday it ate through three plums and on Thursday it ate through four strawberries. It was still hungry. On Friday the caterpillar ate through five oranges. It was still hungry. On Saturday it ate through a chocolate cake, an ice cream cone, a pickle, some Swiss cheese, a lollipop, a cherry pie, a sausage, a cupcake, some watermelon. That night it had a stomachache and on Sunday it ate through a leaf.
