Alte substantive primesc - es la plural . Acestea se termina in : 

- o ; 1 potato - 2 potatoes 

-x ; 1 box- 2 boxes 

- ss ; 1 class - 2 classes 

- sh ; 1 brush - 2 brushes 

-ch ;  1 watch - 2 watches 

- s ; 1 bus - 2 buses

Daca substantivele  se termina in - f sau - fe la pl adaugam - ves 

ex . 

1 leaf (frunza) - 2 leaves 

1 knife (cutit) -  2 knives 

Daca substantivele se termina in -y avem doua situatii : 

- consoana inainte de - y ; 1 party - 2 parties 

- vocala inainte de -y ; 1 boy - 2 boys

Plurale neregulate 

1 child - 2 children 

( 1 copil) 

1 man - 2 men 

( un barbat ) 

1 woman - 2 women 

( o femeie)
